Burning Coal Theatre Company Continues KIDSWRITE, 6/1-3

Burning Coal Theatre Company of Raleigh, NC today announced the following play scripts that will be produced as part of the KidsWrite 2012 Festival of New Plays:

o I Am… Macbeth by Aubrey Clyburn of Ligon Middle School in Raleigh (8th grade)

o I Miss Her by Hope Reilly of Leesville High School in Raleigh (10th grade)

o Review by Colton Flick of Raleigh Charter School (12th grade)

o The Phantom Dirigible by Alexandra Wimberley, Durham School of the Arts (12th grade)

o 00? (Pronounced “Double O What?”) by Hannah Groover of Green Hope High School in Morrisville (9th grade)

Performances of the five short plays will occur on Friday and Saturday, June 1st and 2nd at 7:30 pm and Sunday, June 3rd at 2 pm at Burning Coal Theatre Company’s Murphey School Auditorium, 224 Polk Street, Raleigh, NC. The production will be directed by Burning Coal’s artistic director, Jerome Davis and Adam Sullivan of Raleigh.
