Marika is training at the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance on the BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre as a Leverhulme scholar and will graduate in 2013. She was selected to represent Trinity Laban in the Stephen Sondheim Society Young Performer of the Year 2012. Outside of her studies, she undertook the short course in directing at the Central School of Speech and Drama. Marika is also a member of the National Youth Music Theatre and will be performing as part of the choir for Jason Robert Brown & Special Guests in Concert at the Apollo Theatre, 26th August. Prior to her studies at Trinity Laban, Marika wrote for The Drama Student Magazine. She ultimately aspires to become a director and casting director in the industry.
