Batman would never fit into any of the Mirvish theatres. Even if a Toronto stop was added to the US tour, it'd be at the ACC... and I doubt Mirvish would have a hand in presenting it. Batman Live
Batman Live, yes. I thought he meant the long forgotten Batman musical Jim Steinman was trying to do. But you're correct, it would likely not be Mirvish.
Not sure how reliable this info is. On a couple wicked forums a few people have mentioned that the National Tour will be back in Toronto for the fourth time towards the end of the 2014 season
Because Wicked is now playing the smaller cities like Kitchener. I doubt we'll see it in Toronto proper again (we should have had a sit-down originally). The only shows I know of for next season are the Les Mis sit down and Once.
The 2nd National Tour of Wicked is playing the smaller cities. The 1st National Tour is still running and consistently selling out in the major cities. When the tour was last here it was sold out for nearly every performance. I would not be surprised at all if it comes back. I am shocked that a sit down has not happened.
Wow. I'm shocked that Love Never Dies might come. I thought that ship sailed a long time ago. I guess Mirvish will never give up on that but will never succeed!
Coach Bob knew it all along: you've got to get obsessed and stay obsessed. You have to keep passing the open windows. (John Irving, The Hotel New Hampshire)

I'm upset that after having such a thorough audition process, they still couldn't bother to cast Canadians in three large leads! But I am very excited to see Karimloo on stage.
Apparently there will be many Americans in the cast. Basically the tour is sitting down in Toronto with some Canadian additions. Similar to what happened with Billy Elliot.
Has anyone else heard of shows coming? Flashdance is a possibility as is Catch Me If You Can, Peter and the Starcatcher, Peter Pan with Cathy Rigby, End of the Rainbow, Porgy and Bess etc. Does anyone know of any non-touring productions that might be part of the series?
